Lost Wage Representation
When you get injured in a car accident in New York, your own auto insurance policy (or the policy of the car you were a passenger in) must automatically reimburse you for your lost wages or income. The law requiring them to do so is called the No-Fault law and the carrier is obligated to pay 80% of your salary up to a maximum of $2000 per month, and for a maximum of three years.
The process is straight forward: We will use your W-2’s, pay stubs, or income tax returns. This information will be presented to the carrier for payment. If the carrier objects or fails to properly pay benefits owed to you, we will bring an action to secure your rights.
